Roof Direction: One of the things that you have to consider when you are considering solar panel installation is the direction in which your home is facing. Roofs which are facing south are best when you want to install PV cells. Homes which are closer to the southern direction are better especially when the roof is facing South West or South East. Roof Space: One of the requirements for installing solar panels is space. You need to have at least 24 square meters of space in your roof and this space is about a parking lot’s size. Another requirement is for the area to be free from the shade which can be cast by chimneys, trees and adjacent buildings.
